I think you're right that the ecosystem look across apps and environments is a critical challenge. This is where I see open standards play a key role. OpenTelemetry is a great example, as it offers a unified specification and framework that can be applied across data sources, across signal types, across your own frontend/backend code, as well as 3rd party tools and cloud services. That's the key for ecosystem play.
